Work
Update
Submitted by Matt on Sun, 25/03/2007 - 16:32Unfortunately, not a lot to update you on this month. Works been very busy, so I've been keeping on top of that, and I've had very little planned in the general socail area because money is being diverted to the Eurovision trip.
I did see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Bristol Hippodrome which was excellent, and next Satuirday, I'll be seeing Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Hippodrome in Birmingham which I'm quite excited about. I also have a skittles evening on Thursday.
Next month I need to get everything together ready for Eurovision. I fly out on Bank Holiday Monday from Heathrow, and I must admit, the closer it gets, the more I get excited. Going on my own is a little odd - the only time I've been abroad on my own was when I went to Spain with someone, and they flew back after day one, leaving me there to finish a couple of things that I went out for in the first place. Luckily, I think that Eurovision will be a different kettle of fish - there's going to be hundreds, if not thousands of people staying in Helsinki for Eurovision, so there'll always be a useful starting topic to work with. I'm sure it'll be no problem.
I had a weird dream last night too, not Eurovision or holiday related, but something I'd like to happen in real life. The dream put an end to something I dislike, and made me very happy. If dreams came true, that would be the one that I picked, but hey, 'twas only a dream.
I'm also sticking to my guns - if I get offered a job out in Finland, I might not come back... perhaps I'd have better luck finding a house out there!!! ::LOL::
Anyway, gotta go do my ironing ::Hmph::

It's all work work work!
Submitted by Matt on Wed, 29/11/2006 - 21:00I've not been blogging the last month as I've been doing so many things, the blog has been the last of my worries.
Work is still busy at the moment. I'm working on a couple of cool projects - first off is some work towards the internet, and the other is customer service focused. Even though general work should be tailing off now, there's still plenty to keep me occupied!
Home-wise, I've had very little time at the weekends - whether I've been busy doing jobs around the house, or out visiting friends/family, or the hockey - you know the score.
New SKY box was fitted and is lovely, but does anyone have any trouble with the colour balance? I know I do!
AND, a bit of an incident with the car! It was parked up behind the house, and someone managed to clip the back end. It's an insurance job unfortunately, but hey-ho.
I promise I'll blog shortly - Will if I forget, remind me!

Pressure
Submitted by Matt on Sat, 08/07/2006 - 10:25Busy at work again! Lots of stuff to be keeping me at the desk and plenty of paperwork.
In other news, I went to the local theatre on Wedmesday, where I saw the RAF Band play. They started off with the National Anthem, then headed into a load of film themes, a Pirates of The Caribbean Montage, James Bond and loads of other stuff. Then the finished off with Riverdance. I wasn't too sure that I'd enjoy myself at this particular concert, but to coin a phrase, it was 'bleedin brilliant'. If you have a chance to see the RAF Band play, take it and go. They're the best.
On the 14th, I'm going to see Kate Rusby, a folk singer who appeared on Jools Holland. I don't know what's been going on at the Wyvern Theatre recently, but they've had a really good mix of talent playing there, and their film club is also showing some pretty good films. Kudos to the Wyvern!
